how to get rid of new menu button on far right side of toolbar
Honestly, I don't know why developers can't offer us new features which we can use or not use, by choice. Instead, things are forced upon us.
Would someone please tell me how to get rid of the new menu button on the right side of the toolbar?
There doesn't seem to be any option to remove it via the Customize toolbars window.
Thank you very much.

The CTR extension makes the 3-bar Firefox menu button customizable, so you can drag this button in the Customize palette to remove it from the Navigation Toolbar.
Reload and Stop probably only combine if you set the two buttons in the correct order (Reload - Stop and not Stop - Reload)

And next question.
I used to have a refresh/reload button and a stop button (big X) alongside the home button, in between the address field and the search field. They have disappeared, and I don't remember how to restore that. Would someone please remind me?
Thanks again.
The reload/stop loading button now seem to be immovably bolted to the right end of the address bar. I do not like them there.
Well, I'm not sure how long messages are kept..... I could search out all my old messages, and probably find the answer to the refresh button. I seem to recall that I had to make some change in about:config, but I don't remember which thing to change.
But hopefully the usually prompt and professional members here can remind me, faster than doing along search.
Not sure why, but answers seem to be taking much longer than usual today. I've noticed a ton of unanswered questions. But the next day after a major upgrade, maybe they are just very busy :-)
Hello brynn2,
First of all thank you for understanding us and sorry for the delay, it has really been a busy week for all of us out here.
The interface you see in Firefox 29 is a major re-design (first one since Firefox 4) of Firefox's user interface called "Australis."
You can use Classic Theme Restorer to get the previous look back. https://addons.mozilla.org/hu/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
See also:
- Tabs On Bottom: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/tabs-on-bottom/
- The Addon Bar (restored): https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/the-addon-bar/
The classic theme restorer doesn't do the only two things I want out of it: user-positioned stop and reload buttons (they're there, but they don't work or auto-combine) and way to delete that menu button.

Oh, thank you so much!
I've got it almost back to where it was before, but I don't understand some of the language in the CTR dialog.
So maybe it would be easier to use a screenshot (attached).
The part in pink rectangle used to be sort of grayish, like the tabs. I couldn't really see the persona image in that area. Is there an option to restore that part?
And also, the part in the yellowish rectangle, just seems like wasted space. I wonder if one of the options will address that?
I think I could actually live with it as is. But I guess it can't hurt to ask.
Thanks again :-)
dalek955, I was able to restore my refresh and stop buttons, with the CTR. Open toolbar customize and just drag them back up there. And I also saw an option in the CTR dialog, to make them moveable. I didn't try that, because I don't need them anywhere else. But it seems like it should work for you. (And also CTR allows the new menu button to be hidden.)
Reload and Stop do not combine in either order. The reload button and removal of the menu button work now, though.
^Oh wait, there's an option for that. And for movable forward/back buttons. Cool.
