I cant upgrade my version of firefox. It runs but when i try to get an addin it says i'm still using my older version

Uninstall Firefox. Search Firefox in your Windows drive (C:\) and DELETE all folders found.
When you are done, restart your computer and re-download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/.
Check and tell if its working.
