I have two problems with this add on. The envelope that once appeared between the address bar and the search bar has disappeared and it won't save my email addresses that I want checked for very long. I've set it up and then run Ccleaner to see if it dumps necessary cookies but it doesn't. After running Ccleaner I opened Firefox again and the add on held onto the addresses. That's the only program that would clear cookies. Therefore, I'm at a loss as to why I sometimes check the options in the Webmail Notifier and find that the email addresses I had entered were gone from the host/username box. This would be a great add on if these problems could be solved. Thanks for your time.

I've the same problem, but the problem is the new version of CCleaner that clear something related to stored accounts in WebMail Notifier. If you add again your accounts and restart Firefox you can see that it works, but if you add your accounts then close Firefox and Clean up with CCleaner then at restart of Firefox the accounts are deleted again. I've to look yet which is the option that delete accounts in WebMail but atm I don't use CCleaner

Thanks but as I stated originally, I have run Ccleaner and re-opened Firefox and found that the information was retained. Ccleaner may still be responsible for it but I've scanned the categories in Ccleaner's Applications menu for Firefox but could not find an option to uncheck that would seem to apply. Also, after running Ccleaner, re-programing my email accounts into Webmail Notifier and then checking Ccleaner's list of cookies to delete with intent to allow those from Webmail Notifier, I found that there were no cookies from Webmail Notifier to delete. I'm not sure where else in Ccleaner to look.

Just a note. I installed the latest revision of Webmail Notifier thinking that the problem may have been addressed but quickly found that it still drops my email account info. The worst is that I don't know until I right click on the envelope icon and click options to see that there are no email addresses listed. Frustrating.

There is a support forum for that extension here:
http://webmailnotifier.mozdev.org/drupal/forum/

The developer of an extension is responsible for providing support for their product, it looks like this developer has better than average support by having his own forum instead of users "hanging" or having to ask for help via email.

IMHO, based upon a lot of problems that I have seen posted about CCleaner and Firefox data being lost, that is the most likely suspect.
