I basically have the same problem as the one I am pasting below but in the Kubuntu Lucid Lynx environment:

Hi there It's a shame no solution is forthcoming after over 4 weeks I have downloaded Google Chrome and see it doesn't have this issue so until someone can suggest a fix, I will use Chrome as my default browser, which I must say I have been quite impressed with to date Thanks
