There's a security policy that allows you to prevent the scripts from focusing HTML elements, see [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Security_Policies#Disable_form_focusing here]. So far there's no built-in GUI to set such policy, so you'll need to manually edit your ''user.js'' file. There's also a [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7066/ Policy Manager] add-on, which supposedly can do that for you.
