Why are all my tabs from the previous session opening up even when I didn't hit "Save and Quit"? I've tried to clear everything and still this happens.

These same tabs were from 3 days ago. Regardless of what I have currently open. When I close the program on my MacBook Pro and reopen, the tabs from 3 days ago appear again. I've tried everything to stop it from happening and it won't.

This can be a problem with the file sessionstore.js in the Profile Folder Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak and any existing files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js . --- Firefox 3.5 and later versions will automatically try to restore the tabs and windows from the last session if a crash has occurred or Firefox wasn't closed properly the previous time. If it didn't work the first time and the session crashes another time then you will get the "Well this is embarrassing" page (about:sessionrestore). See https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox3.1/AboutSessionrestore_Security_Review ..... Make sure that you close Firefox properly, otherwise session restore will try to open the tabs and windows from the previous session. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_hangs and Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix (Hang at exit) .....
