I downloaded Firefox to get away from Google, but Google is the default search engine. Can't Google collect data from my searches? Then why do I need Firefox? (Please don't suggest that I switch to DuckDuckGo because I find that search engine problematic.)

Firefox for Android is a web browser that uses Google as the default search provider.
