After the most recent Firefox update, my browser has been repeatedly crashing multiple times a day, but it doesn't even show up in the crash reports tab. In fact, the oldest crash report had been from August. It'll start by freezing up, and then it will stop responding, and even if I wait for a bit, it never starts up again. Sometimes I cant even close it normally (like with the "would you like to close (insert program) or wait for it to respond?) panel) and have to resort to using the task manager. Other browsers work just fine, but Firefox has been a long time favorite, so I'm hesitant to stop using it altogether despite it's current issues.

I've tried just about everything, including troubleshooting mode - it still crashes - and refreshing it repeatedly. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, doing full scans of my computer multiple times for malware - coming up empty - and doing full computer restarts as well. Nothing I've done has managed to work, and every other suggestion is something I've already tried. I'm even beginning to think it's a problem with my PC itself, even though Firefox is the only thing having this issue.

This never happened before the most recent update, and my current version is 106.0.2. I'm not sure what to do now, and I'm very tech-illiterate, so I'd like some help please.

Unfortunately, the Crash Reporter doesn't run when Firefox freezes or becomes non-responsive, only when it truly unloads itself.

Is there any pattern to the sites you are using when Firefox freezes? Do you notice excess fan noise like the CPU is working heavily?

That's unfortunate, but I thought so.

There's a bit of a pattern, but I'm not sure what it could mean. It's usually either very soon after I start it back up again, where I'm quickly flipping through tabs to login to things again, or on tabs playing audio. Or even generally if I scroll to fast, sometimes. I try to keep tab count to a minimum, so I'm not sure if this is the common factor here.

As for CPU and fan noises, not really. The fans aren't any louder than usual from what I can tell, and the CPU usage in task manager has been around 3% to 4% lately, with 740~ memory. Out of everything I have open at all, it usually takes up the most space.

The common reasons for computers keep crashing are but are not limited to: The display, power supply, or CPU is overheating. The internal hardware of the computer is loose. Software and hardware are incompatible.
