How to set Bookmark to always open in a container

The option to always open a link in a particular container seems to be linked to the domain; right-click link, Open link in new Container Tab, click the Always open link in this container. This then sets all links to that domain to open in that container.

Often I want to log in to the same domain, but as a different user. So I open them in different containers so as to keep the sessions separate.

It would be useful to specify the container in the bookmark rather, so I can have multiple bookmarks all pointing to the same domain, but each always open in the container I choose for them. I tried various add-ons, but they use the domain-based container feature built into FireFox.

How can I force a bookmark to always open in a set container?

Hi Peter,

I had the same question, then found this Multi-Account Container add in.

I created a container that I called work. When I open any of my work cloud apps, I have it set now to always open in the Work container. Works great!

Check this out https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/containers

Hi andreuys1 That link takes you to the knowledge base page for Containers, which is the add-on I am using. Point 4 of the final "What you can do with..." paragraph says "Assign a website to a container, so that a specific website will always open in a specific container." My question is how to relate many links to the same website to different containers. Unless I am missing something, there is nothing on that page that answers my question. Thanks for wanting to help anyway.
