I am using Firefox for 3 or more years and also followed the news. I see news about privacy or container things and that's why i am using FireFox. But as a laptop and windows tablet user i never saw any new on that firfox team worked on increasing the battery life. I am very concern about that. See this benchmark firfox is always behind. I also see this in my laptop. https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/web-browers-battery-life-tested/

Anything in future ?

Hi rahmanshaber, Have a look at this thread: terrible battery drainage on mac when using firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1268176

And also, the work that Firefox is doing with Enhanced Tracking Protection has an impact on increasing battery life.

Here's an example from the Firefox Frontier - Let Firefox help you block cryptominers from your computer https://blog.mozilla.org/firefox/block-cryptominers-with-firefox/

So i have to disable the reason i use firefox ? that's a big compromise .

There's a lot of work is being done, every day.

For instance, Webrender is a huge battery saver. See https://mozillagfx.wordpress.com/
