Why 'save object from link' option gone with 50.1.0 update? How do I save mp3 files from link now?
If there's a mp3 link or any other file link on a page, when I long press it, there is no option to download. But there was! Why is it removed? Any way to bring it back? Other android browsers do have it (Chrome e.g.)

I'm sorry you haven't received a reply. I don't use Firefox for Android but you can look through the following bug report (comment 2 may be helpful): Bug 1284541 - Unable to download media files to device
The above report is a duplicate of the open bug, Bug 1020230 - Add 'save link' feature. Looking through these bug reports and other duplicates, I don't see that 'save object from link' was ever a context menu option.
Maybe it was a Firefox for Android add-on that stopped working ... maybe one like this? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/save-link-menus/
Hopefully another Firefox for Android user has more information.

Thank you for clarifying. I'll vote for that feature on bugzilla
