D3D11 layers disabled due to a prior crash
After having noticed some graphics glitches in the main UI of Firefox (i.e. not in content), I looked at about:support and there is an error in the Graphics section (last line):
Adapter Description NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Adapter Drivers nvd3dumx,nvwgf2umx,nvwgf2umx nvd3dum,nvwgf2um,nvwgf2um Adapter RAM 2048 Asynchronous Pan/Zoom none ClearType Parameters Gamma: 2200 Pixel Structure: R ClearType Level: 100 Enhanced Contrast: 300 Device ID 0x1187 DirectWrite Enabled false (6.2.9200.17568) Driver Date 2-5-2015 Driver Version 9.18.13.4752 GPU #2 Active false GPU Accelerated Windows 0/4 Basic (OMTC) Subsys ID 360b1458 Supports Hardware H264 Decoding No; Hardware video decoding disabled or blacklisted Vendor ID 0x10de WebGL Renderer Google Inc. -- ANGLE (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Direct3D9Ex vs_3_0 ps_3_0) windowLayerManagerRemote true AzureCanvasAccelerated 0 AzureCanvasBackend skia AzureContentBackend cairo AzureFallbackCanvasBackend cairo (#0) Error D3D11 layers disabled due to a prior crash.
It looks like Hardware Acceleration was automatically disabled (permanently) due to a crash, despite being enabled in about:preferences. How can I re-enable it without refreshing Firefox and losing my other settings?

Try updating the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 drivers.
I'm seeing a driver from 2013 and another from 2-5-2015 in your Graphics details.

I think I found the correct drivers for Win10 and "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760", but don't know if you have a 'notebook', and not sure if that even makes a difference or not. http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/105037/en-us Release Date: 2016.7.14
