Hi, Have a Dash Cam that records on a MicroSD card.

I am not able to view/playback the recording on my PC or Laptop.

I have a Card reader. A MicroSD adapter. I just can't get the Computer to play-back the Video.

Any Tips on the steps to take appreciated.

It's most likely that you'll want to use a stand-alone video playback program for this, and not Firefox (even with a plugin).

If you look at the files on the card, what program does Windows associate them with? And/or, what file extension do they have (e.g., .mov, .avi, .mp4, etc.)?

If you need a general purpose video player, you could try VLC:

Hi Js, Thank you for your input.

They are said to be AVI.

I have been trying to Play it via "RealPlayer"

It seems to "see" the File but I can't get it to play.

Thanks again, have a nice day.

AVI is sort of a generic extension and the video inside could be in a variety of formats. If you have Windows Media Player, try that. If not, or if it doesn't work, try VLC.

VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files.

On Linux I use MPV and Gnome Mplayer more though.
