Unable to switch between tabs in Firefox 43.0.4 or 45.0.2 with Classic Theme Restorer installed.
It will work fine for a while than just stop working. When you click on a tab, it appears to be selected, but you all tabs are the same page. Clearing cache, cookies, history does not help. Rebooting the PC fixes it for a while. Does this on both WIn 7 Unltimate and Win 8 Pro (both x64.
i've tried the suggestions here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1032366 to uncheck top box in CTR advanced settings, I've unchecked all of them without any effect. Disabling CTR or rebooting is the only fix.

Does it work with only CTR enabled?
Create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem. Install only the CTR extension in the new profile.
See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

There is a support thread for Classic Theme Restorer over here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2827985&start=3930
Is this with tabs on top or with the tabs in the lower position?
Is the Firefox window maximized?
In case of the latter you can try to set browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar to false on the about:config page.

Thanks, I see if I can find something there, and post there if needed.
Cor-el: Tabs below the Bookmarks bar Not maximized. Now on Win 8 rebooting doesn't get it working again.
Snapshot shows setup with CTR enabled, I closed my email tab which was the only one visible. You can see the Mozilla Support tab appears to be selected, but is blank and the URL is still for Yahoo Mail

Turns out it's a conflict with Favicon Picker 2. When I upgraded FF a while back it was disabled as being incompatible, so I removed it, but sync re-installed it. Never scrolled down far enough to see that it had been re-installed and enabled. So User error in not checking with ALL extensions disabled but CTR. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
