My internet carrier's pop-up message wanted permission to 'modify' Firefox. I did not approve it because 'modify' was not explained. Was I right or wrong?
Frontier Secure from Frontier Communications (my internet provider) sent a 'pop-up' that they wished to modify Firefox. I closed the message without approving it, because there was no other information offered. I love my Firefox and don't want someone adding to it, or diminishing it's usability. I know Frontier will be 'upgrading' their security programs in a couple of weeks. I realize security is important. Was I right or wrong to not reply and does Firefox let me know if there has been any 'outside' changes or 'modifications' to the programs it offers?

Call their support center. That sounds like a scam.
