After I moved to new PC, firefox always crashes with facebook tab is opened. It takes a few minutes, but even I am not doing anything or on different tab, it crashes 100% of time. This does not happens on previous PC or other PCs I am using.

What is wrong with this new PC setup to make this happens.

Addons are all the same in the different machines.

Hi bnsboo, Sorry you are having problems.

Do you get crash reports ? If so please visit about:crashes and paste in the last two or three Crash IDs beginning with bp- as explained further down in this reply.

Otherwise please explain in more detail what happens ? and any error messages you see ? Also please try Firefox in its safemode and with all plugins including FlashPlayer disabled.

Please post back with how you get on and answers to the above questions.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
