Can I turn off seeing the original message in the reply message?

I do not want to see the original message when I reply to a message. Especially because I 'bcc myself on all emails, when I export them, I do not want to see the same "thread" multiple times.

If you go into the View menu and set Sort By to Unthreaded does that fix your issue?
