This issue started happening a couple of months ago, so I am thinking it was a Win 8.1 update that caused this. There are quite a few websites that I am having issues in my child's account with Family Safety enabled. The biggest issue is Facebook. I get the message This Connection is Untrusted. I click on the Technical Details. This is the message I get: www.facebook.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer). On some of the other sites you get the option of adding this exception. Here you do not get this choice. I have looked for the last 2 months and tried everything. Please help. Thanks!

If you tried this support article, what happened?

Note: in step #10 in Microsoft's instructions, you probably need to click the Authorities tab in the Certificates dialog before importing. That certificate won't import into the other tabs.

jscher2000,

It worked on the 4th try. I noticed the step #10 issue on the first 3 tries but could never get to step 11. Thanks for you the quick response and help.
