This appeared when Firefox was first downloaded. Has not appeared on any other download. Duplicates items in toolbar at top of screen, which is where I want them. How to eliminate this large gray toolbar??

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

Not handy to attach screenshot - remote computer.

A gray bar about 1.5" high, across bottom of screen, contains same functions as toolbar at top. Looks like I-pad bars that show at bottom.

Want it to go away so I have full use of screen.
