I am terribly upset with Mozilla. I use Mozilla in conjunction with my AOL account. I agreed somehow to take Mozilla news and now there are all kinds of downloads being forced on me that I do not want. I cannot get past them and some are already messing with my computer. Browser and my AOL News page etc. I do not want these downloads and now I do not know how to get rid of the stuff. It is conflicting with AOL which I PAY FOR - GET IT !!!! I am so angry with Mozilla that I believe I will drop it.

Hello,

I'm not sure what you mean by Mozilla News. What you describe does not sound like any Mozilla product I am aware of. It is possible that something else is causing the problem.

Can you post a screenshot of the downloads that are being forced on you? You can add images by clicking the 'Browse' button under your reply.

Hi snl1230, you may have an unwanted add-on that is tormenting you. May I suggest the following to streamline your Firefox.

Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized add-ons on these two tabs. If in doubt, disable.

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Plugins category
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

Restart Firefox and see whether the offers stop.
