I click on a link for a video, and the video plays without sound.Checked sound bar and it's not mute, and still no sound

I have tried all the fixes FF suggests and checked and nothing works - It worked fine until I updated to the latest version of Firefox and my sounds and my system sounds and avi and sound on them work fine on my computer.

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • downgrade the Flash player to version 10.3 or 11.2
