I reply to received e mails, these get sent to the recipient and get saved on the server but do not appear in my folders on my PC. If I forward messages or create new ones it all works as it should.

In my Tbird's left pane, under each account there are two sent folders (I'm using gmail accounts). Under the email address (in bold) there is a "Sent" folder. Under that is a yellow "Gmail" folder. Expanding the Gmail folder there is a "Sent Mail" folder. Clicking this "Sent Mail" folder shows all of my sent mail for that account. Clicking the previous "Sent" folder does not always show all of the email for that gmail account.

Just saying in case it helps.
