My Firefox browser (and those of my colleagues) will crash when trying to upload or download (seemingly) any files. My RedHat distribution is:

> cat /proc/version Linux version 2.6.32-754.3.5.el6.x86_64 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-23) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Tue Aug 14 15:20:19 CDT 2018

My system's package manager is yum: > yum --version 3.2.29

 Installed: rpm-4.8.0-59.el6.x86_64 at 2018-07-11 11:57
 Built    : Scientific Linux at 2018-06-19 19:04
 Committed: Panu Matilainen <[email protected]> at 2018-03-26
 Installed: yum-3.2.29-81.el6.noarch at 2017-04-05 17:56
 Built    : Scientific Linux at 2017-03-21 21:00
 Committed: Valentina Mukhamedzhanova <[email protected]> at 2016-12-07

And my Firefox version currently associated with the yum manager is:

> firefox -v Mozilla Firefox 60.2.0

Any insight is appreciated, as it appears the whole group is having the same problem. Thanks!
