On Mac Mail, the list of emails in my inbox shows the first line or 2 of the email. Is there a way to do this on Thunderbird?

more options

I am currently accustomed to using Mac Mail. I would like to switch to Thunderbird. One deterrent is all of the emails in my inbox not showing any info. They are just listed as 1 line showing the subject, sender, and date. On my Mac Mail it shows the Sender, Subject, and date...but below that it shows the first sentence or 2 of the actual email. I am not talking about the pane where you actual read the email itself, but I am talking about the list of emails in my inbox where you would click on a given email to have it appear in the main reading pane. This is helpful to be a reminder of what the email is about without having to actual click on the email itself to make it appear in the main reading pane. Not sure if this is even an option on Thunderbird, but if it is, any advice is appreciated. Thanks! -Chris

Hi Chris, I'm sorry, but that feature isn't available in Thunderbird yet. The enhancement request is already logged, so rest assured, developers know this feature is wanted. ☺️
