I went against the security settings I have set up on my browser and gave exception for a non-recommended site to be one my computer has permission to visit. Now I want to change that but when I went into my security options, I cannot find a delete button for the line items. When I highlight the line item it just provides an edit option which doesnt seem to do what I want.

Hi happycat5, which category of exception is it? Firefox has many different dialogs related to, for example, Cookies/Site Data, Tracking Protection, Pop-up Windows, ability to install Extensions, accessing your location, and so on. These are listed on the Privacy & Security panel:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

In the left column, click Privacy & Security.
