How to recover overwritten saved password!?

I accidentally deleted my active logins yesterday, when clearing out my browser history. I lost access to my gmail and yahoo email accounts. When I went to re-login I typed in an old password that didn't work, but before I knew that it didn't work, I saved it as my new updated password in firefox!

Is there any way to recover my password before I updated it?!? I can't remember the password at all. I need to get into my email accounts...and they happen to be the recovery emails for each-other, so their recovery options are doing nothing.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

When you go back to a website, and enter new information, it is updated.
