After a very brief power outage while using Firefox, links that I visit no longer change color. I have the Visited addon installed and it was working fine. I have "Remember my browsing and download history" checked. Nothing has changed as a result of the power outage except this. I uninstalled and reinstalled visited, but no joy. Some sites such as this one and Google use the FF default color for visited links, but most sites ignore my settings. Any suggestions?

Solved it. FF took advantage of the power outage and went behind my back to upgrade my version to 43. The Visited addon no longer works with 43. Had to switch to Visited Lite as per the author's instructions at the Visited addon site on Mozilla:
