Thunderbird requested a restart to update on 7/13/15. Once applied, the program restarted. I need to enter a password to receive email form my ISP. Once restarted the program will not give me the pop-up box for the password. In the Account Settings, Server Settings screen, Authenticate by Normal Password is selected. No screen. Hit the Get Messages button...nothing. I also need to authenticate to send and that seems to be working...that password box pops up. Any suggestions?

Are you using an anti-virus product like Avast?
