Appearance theme mysteriously changes to default....again.
The appearance I chose for Firefox seems to resort back to (the boring) default every time I open the program. This happened a couple years ago and seemed to have fixed itself and now it's back. I'm using Version 28.0 and this started about a couple months ago. Other than the plugins I update on a regular basis, I have not added anything else to Firefox in a long time.
Suggestions?

The theme is still installed but it is not the default any more?
There are some programs that can undo your changes in Firefox. These often have a name similar to Surfing Protection, Browser Protection, Home Page Protection, and so on. Advanced SystemCare is one of the ones other users have identified as rolling back settings changes, but you might have a different one.
Firefox also can have trouble retaining changes between sessions for reasons listed in this article: How to fix preferences that won't save.
Do any of those leads help you track down the culprit?
