Hi. I have just installed update for firefox - now my ver. is Firefox/13.0.1 and I have just updated flash for ver. Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300. After all of this updates all flash based web features which are ads, embedded movies, banners and (this is very important for me) some graphic interfaces for online banking and online eshop are not displaying - its not even showing "crashed plug in " screen just blank space where should be flash . There is no info when i right click on blank space . Any ideas what should I do to fix this?

The latest FlashPlayer upgrade version 11.3 has been causing problems on Windows Firefox.

The advice up to today has been to downgrade FlashPlayer to the secure version 10.3, or to take some risk and use the not secure version 11.2.

Firefox and Adobe developers have been working on this issue and breaking news is that there is a new release of Flash Player

We have not yet received many reports on this but you may wish to downloading and installing the very latest one.

Please post back with how you get on.

Thanks for the information.

bartek.kopek has reported that a reinstall of FlashPlayer solved the problem, but Bart has not yet confirmed the re-install was of FlashPlayer 11.3.300.262

Found a solution here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1029369 Apparently Real Player is the reason why things are not working. I believe the problem is more on Adobe's end, but I am not sure. Either way, uninstalling real player worked for me, but if you disable the download plugin and keep it from downloading at all, it should work.

There have been multiple issues with Flash 11.3 use.

RealPlayer is a known issue (with recording or downloading features), but we do not seem to be offering any official advice on that at the moment.

The FlashPlayer problems sometimes involve the security feature protected mode. It is possible to set that on or off manually but the powers that be have decided it is too complicated to include as a standard solution at present. The choice of installer/download link may even affect this setting.
