You suggested I update my Firefox site, but I received information saying that I could not because I needed a minimum of Mac OX S 5.8 or 5.9. I have 5.8 installed on my Powerbook. How can I get the update installed?

Many thanks, DCS

Sorry but as of Firefox 4.0 and newer the Firefox builds from Mozilla requires both Mac OSX 10.5+ and a Intel. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/5.0/system-requirements/

Either you can use 3.6.19 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Or try a third-party build at http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/
