Why has the latest version of Firefox hidden my avast! EasyPass toolbar and how do I get it back?

On the last version of Firefox I had my avast! EasyPass toolbar visible and working, however this latest version seems to have hidden it and I don't know how to unhide it. It doesn't show up in my Toolbar list however it is clearly installed in my add-ons page.

Try reinstalling the toolbar.

Already tried it, it didn't work.

When Firefox automatically updated to v22 on my two Windows 7 systems Avast Easypass 7.7.8.128 toolbar disappeared. Reinstalling Easypass did not help. I took Firefox back to v21 and Easypass works OK now. Evidently there is an incompatibility between Easypass 7.7.8.128 and Firefox v22 on Windows 64.

Where can I get the download for v21? Because that would be better than my current situation of no toolbar.

the link for FFv21 worked great...until FF automatically updated to v22 again...and then avast easypass was gone once more! so if you do go back to v21, don't forget to go into your options and don't do automatic updates for FF...like me. ha

i wish there was a way to know if FFv22 becomes compatible with easypass...??

Yes, you must go to Tools/Options/Advanced/Updates and select 'Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them'. Otherwise FF will update you to v22 whether you like it or not and EasyPass will stop working again.

I was facing the same problem and I am now using FF ESR instead of FF v22. You can read more at: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=128193.0
