I am running Windows 7, Firefox is up to date (19.0.2). I use Firefox in the right hand monitor. I have two Syncmaster 204B monitors, my screen resolution is 1600x1200. One monitor is run analog, the other digital. Add ons: Adblock, Bamboo Feed Reader, Better Privacy, Ghostery, NoScript, NoSquint.

When I left-click on one of the drop down menus (File, Edit, View, etc.), the result appears in the left hand monitor. This is incorrect behavior and fairly irritating.

If the Firefox window is smaller than maximized (still in the right hand monitor), the drop down menus can work correctly, appearing directly under the button. This is only true if there is enough space between the left edge of the window and the monitor edge. I need to leave a little more than an inch (19" monitors) on the left edge for the menus to work right.

If I move Firefox to the left monitor, the drop down menus work fine, appearing directly under the button.

I have tried swapping cables and then swapping monitors in the Windows Graphics Properties, so that the right monitor changes from digital to analog. Same results.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Steve

One more--I do not have hardware acceleration enabled.

No one has a clue. This problem is enough to get a person to change browsers.

Steve

It would be nice to know if anyone is reading this, even if they don't know the answer.
