Installation of Firefox Lockwise for Windows 10
Hi, How do I install Firefox Lockwise for Windows 10? I visited Firefox Lockwise's website (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/lockwise/) and there's only installations for Android & iOS devices but I only want it installed in Windows 10. How should I go about it?
Waiting for your reply asap, thank you.
Cool Regards, Pallas

Note that Firefox for desktop is coming with Lockwise as the default builtin Password Manager, so no need to install an app. The Lockwise app on a mobile device uses a Firefox Sync account to access logins synced from a desktop device and doesn't store them locally like with a desktop version in the profile folder.

When Lockwise was released EVERY username and password was GONE from my laptop . Now , my recall is below average so now, if I enable sync in Firefox, Lockwise , which "sync" is according to experts in security is a security risk not worth taking. Can I use Firefox LockWise without having to sync Firefox?
Current releases on desktop still use the same logins.json and key4.db files for storing the logins and there shouldn't be a problem with updating. If you lost logins after an update then a new profile might have been created or the refresh feature in Firefox might have been used. There is also security software on Windows that can prevent Firefox from accessing files and thus causes data loss.

There is no need to use Sync to sync logins if you only have one desktop device.
