What happens if you go to about:logins? Are they all there?

There's an "Autofill logins and passwords" option in settings. Is this option checked? If not, check this box.

it is checked I also noticed after I did the update that there is a folder titled Old Firefix Data on my desktop. Do you think the logins would be in there? If so how do I put them back?

Yes, your logins should be there. You need to copy over key4.db and logins.json to your new profile. You can find your profile at about:support

You can find more details here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recovering-important-data-from-an-old-profile#w_passwords

This is a bit confusing. step 3 Hold down control and click on a file you want to copy. What file is that? where is that? How do I know which ones i need? and then where do I copy this?

hey @temekugirl, this issue can be rectify by sign in again to your Mozilla. As you sign in again your all data come back. since your all passwords, bookmarks are related to your account and is syncing on the cloud. let me know the status.

You can copy the files that I specified earlier: key4.db and logins.json to your profile which you can find by pasting about:support into your address bar and pressing enter.

If you look through the sections on the page that I linked to you, you'll see that there are files listed for each kind of data you might need to restore. To restore passwords, you copy the key4.db and logins.json files.

As long as you used Firefox sync before, the above will also solve your problem.
