In TB 60.4.0 (32-bit/Windows), I select to compose a new message. The FROM: field allows me to select which account/address to send from. There is one account in that list that I had set up in the past but no longer use and it has been deleted from Tools->Accounts already, but it still shows in the FROM: selection list. That is, there are more accounts listed in the FROM: dropdown than exist in Tools->Accounts. How can I remove this extra account?

I finally figured this one out. In Tools->Accounts->under one of the accounts I clicked "Manage Identities" and I could see not only one of the valid email addresses listed, but also the "rogue" address that didn't appear as an account. I didn't remember adding it there as an identity, but regardless, deleting that identity removed the selection from the Sender/From pulldown list.

You have removed the incoming account. Did you remove the associated outgoing account? I think probably not.

Look in outgoing server (SMTP) where you should find an outgoing server configured for each mail account.
