Hi, I am running the latest version of the Firefox and Video DownloadHelper. Since the Video DownloadHelper was updated with companion app, all videos downloaded are very jerky and not smooth when playback. This issue has persisted for quite some time and no update of it has every resolved the issue. Could anybody offer help and suggestion how can I mitigate the problem? Thanks.

Please provide a link to the Video DownloadHelper you are using. Several use this name.

Does this happen all the time, sometimes, once in a while? Many websites, some, a few?

This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

Hi FredMcD, thanks for the reply. This issue happens all the time, every videos downloaded using video downloadhelper ever since it was updated with companion app showed the jerky playback problem. So far I only download video from one frequented streaming site, but the playback of video downloaded from the site used to be smooth until the update.
