How can I resolve this issue: 'Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender' for all my hotmail (outlook) recipients
Hi,
I am getting this email for all my 'hotmail.com' (outlook) recipients when trying to send an email to any of them I also got it for an 'msn.com' recipient before:
"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:.... host mx1.hotmail.com [65.55.37.72] SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<[email protected]> SIZE=8292: 550 SC-001 (COL004-MC1F10) Unfortunately, messages from 198.1.119.134 weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list. You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors."
Is there anything I can do?
Thank you very much for your help,
Julie

Like most first tier help desk people, they are idiots!. They are lucky to know enough to pick up the phone if it makes a noise.
If their network or IP range is blacklisted only they can get it fixed. I would ask to have this escalated to someone that knows something.
It is not your problem and there is nothing to fix on your computer.

The message clearly states that your provider is on a block list. What did they say when you contacted them?

Hi, OK, yes I didn't really understand what that meant, but I think I get it now. I will contact them. Thank you!
I just contacted my Internet Service provider and they said they don't have the ability to help and I need to contact an IT technician.
May I ask your opinion on this?
Thank you
