I changed the fonts size settings for my mom who has bad vision while she was visiting but now cannot reset it to my original default settings which I prefer. Could you please tell me the:

(1) default font and size (2) default proportional and size (3) default monospace and size (4) default minimum font size

Thanks!! Laura Scorr

I think generally the default is 16 for proportional fonts and 13 for fixed fonts, but could I suggest this roundabout method:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste font*size and pause while the list is filtered (it has a * in the middle to match both font.size and font.minimum-size)

(3) Most of these preferences will be at their default values. For those that have been customized, you can double-click to edit the value, or right-click/Ctrl+click and choose Reset from the context menu to restore the default.

Does that work?

You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
