thanks ....nothing to reset.........I think yahoo see my ip is australia.. so they hijack me to yahoo7finance then i have to click the usa flag to go yahoo finance usa .. this never happened with the previous firefox version. should have stayed with ver 22

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

How is your location reported?


Check the connection settings.

See "Firefox connection settings":

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

just installed chrome and opera browsers ...they behave the same way... yahoo hijack the finance usa link and send me to finance australia..... other yahoo pages work ok ......its only the finance page ..its impossible to go to yahoo finance usa .... without going to finance australia first....then clicking the usa flag.. not a firefox issue ..its yahoo deciding where i should go ...so i decided to go google finance instead. thanks for your effort to get this sorted ..
