firefox won't display website properly on my new asus-explorer displays fine

Opening a website, let's say Google, and selecting 'images', gives one screen of photos but scrolling down yields no more photos, just a blank screen. Most websites don't show all the info previously there. Such as stock numbers in the margins. Same websites are fine in Explorer. I don't like Explorer. Laptop is new Asus. Screen resolution is set to 'recommended'. I think it's 1366x768.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
