Just download the setup of FF 5.x and install it: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/5.0.1/

I had many problems with FF6 and multiple tabs.

SmarterMail has confirmed a problem with FF6: http://forums.smartertools.com/showthread.php/28152-Firefox-6-broken-with-SM-5.5
