Since downloading firefox 4 I keep getting the error message" there was a problem sending the command to program"

I first noticed it after i downloaded the latest firefox 4 browser i clicked on internet links via windows livemail 2011 and it came up with the error message " there was a problem sending the command to program". My operating system is windows 7 ultimate. I have used my other web browsers, windows and google and i don't have this problem.

In my case, i have solved this by double clicking on the downloaded file directly from the download window
