How di I get bookmarks filed by frequent uses rather than alphabetical?

I move frequent bookmarks to the top of the list, when I close FF and go back to bookmarks they are arranged alphabetically. How do I get favorites to stay on the top of the list?

The Views menu in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) is for displaying the bookmarks in different sorting orders (hence the name Views) and doesn't sort bookmarks permanently.
