I have 5.1 speakers but on Mozilla Firefox only the fron 2 work. What could be the cause? The sound works perfectly in other programs and games.

Ok so I have 5.1 surround sound speakers but when using Mozilla Firefox only the 2 front ones work. What could be the cause? I have to specify that all the 6 speakers work on other programs and games.
