Hi,

Ever since a system update about a month ago, Firefox has been freezing when I type in social media / forms boxes (i.e. Facebook, Linked in, and even this box). It normally hangs for around 20 seconds before returning to normal. Has anyone else had anything like that? Any thoughts. Obvs the system update seems like a possible culprit, but it doesn't seem to happen on Microsoft Edge. thanks for any suggestions, Matt

Is this with all websites/pages, some, a few?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
