Using Firefox 79 on Windows 10, all of a sudden I am getting requests to install an add-on identifying itself as slideclocks.com. I did not ask for it and every time I try to cancel by hitting the "Don't Allow" button, other windows pop up. It also seems to generate multiple Firefox windows, once I counted 18 of them. Doing an "end task" from the Task Manager doesn't help; they just pop back up. I tried reinstalling Firefox but the who process just repeated itself. I tried restarting with "firefox -safe" but that didn't seem to help. I also get a cmd window now and then with the same request to install slideclocks.com. Attached is a sample of multiple windows being generated by this add-on. So how can I get rid of it?

I'm suspecting you have malware or bad software installed on your computer.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
