Form data missing after download
I've complained about this before... You have a form where you select options on a website. You download - you get taken to another page. Download happens... you then get taken back tot he first page where you selected the options. The options are now NOT selected.
Big problem when you have 100 or so options that you have had to select through. I don't understand why this is not default behaviour. I'm pretty sure IE doesn't have this problem (though it's been years since I last used that junk).
Am I the only one suffering?

What's your computer system and Firefox version?
You are on one page, get sent to another page for the download, and when you get back to the first page, your selections were reset. Yes?
Where does this happen? What type of files are you downloading?
Windows 10 - all latest updates installed. Firefox: latest version. These 2 things aren't the reason for the problem. I guess it's just something overlooked and not thought of as having been important in Firefox.
One place is ebay. I select many sales and choose to download those sales. Many times, I don't want to download all and need to select. All OK if just a few. Big problem if 100 sales.
But this problem happens everywhere. Many websites take you to another page when choosing to download.
eBay has downloads?

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?
While you are in safe mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

It's not ebay. It's ANY web form. Choosing options where you select boxes and then on next page you download - this is not extraordinary - many websites have the same.
When returned, the web page should be in the SAME state as it was left and the user should not have to reselect.
ebay's download part is downloading sales data. But it's not ebay! Many others.
