Firefox update has wiped out my settings, addons and theme
I've been thinking about migrating from Chrome to Firefox since Quantum came out, and now Chromes color space issue has pushed me over the edge. (I'm tired of watching washed out videos) However, my faith in Firefox has diminished since a recent update wiped out all my settings, addons and theme. The only addon I was left with was Ublock. There is no folder on my desktop called Old Firefox.
Is there any other way to get my previous settings back? Thanks.

Hi, current version of Firefox is 61.0.1 and you show as 59. Update by going to Help --> About
I would say possibly not. But please look here for a 2nd Profile folder, your looking for the oldest dated one.
If there is :
- bookmarks and history: places.sqlite
- bookmark backups: compressed .jsonlz4 JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recovering-important-data-from-an-old-profile
fyi for the future :
