Hello

My Inbox is currently 98% full and I'm worried that the system will stop receiving emails once it reaches a 100%. As such I tried applying various other fixes that I found on the forums such a compressing the inbox folder or moving all the emails into another folder and then deleting the originals from the inbox. The problem is that no matter what I do I stay at 98% it doesn't matter what I delete or compress. I also turned of my email scanner as someone mentioned doing that.

Any help with this would be much appreciated

Thank you

The 98% is probably the quota on your server showing. Do you have configured a POP3 account? You can check this in Tools -> Account Settings -> [account] -> Server Settings . If so, you'll need to login to your provider's webmail and remove messages from within that interface.

Under Tools -> Account Settings -> [account] -> Server Settings you can also set some settings to improve message handling on the server, for instance to uncheck the pref Keep messages on server to remove messages after immediately downloading or after some time, or after you remove them locally.
